 Class 5 MOT test includes ambulances, private passenger cars, and vehicles that are for dual purpose with thirteen or more seats for passengers. This class has one year of the required age for the first MOT test. They are designed for not more than the seat belts as fitted with minimum requirements. Class 5A is the same as Class 5, the only addition is that it is important to check the number of seat belts installed. Classes 6 and 6A include the public service vehicles that are generally tested under the Driver and Vehicle Standard agency or some professionally designated places. The required age for the first MOT test is one year. Lastly is Class 7 which includes vehicles that have a weight of more than 3000 kg and the age required for the test is three years.
