Volumetric display forms a visual representation of an object in three physical dimensions. It creates 3D imagery using the emission, scattering or transmitting illumination from well-defined regions in space. Light of volumetric display may diverge over large angles instead of covering a limited aperture. Volumetric image point can be seen from any directions with the help of isotropic light emission.
